From Eholt the trip to Grand Forks is an easy two hour downhill bike ride. If you cycle north from Grand Forks, you will add another hour. Traveling south you will encounter breathtaking views of the North Fork Valley and Granby River. After passing through two historic tunnels you will come to the red section man shed at Fisherman Station and may even encounter a herd of bighorn sheep that frequents the area. Watch for eagles, deer, marmots, and hawks. You may even be lucky enough to spot a black bear or cougar. As you approach Grand Forks, past Ward Lake, cross the paved North Fork Rd. and follow the grade to The Station. Converted to a pub and restaurant, The Station is the oldest CPR station in the province which remains in its original location and the only remaining example of that particular style of architecture in Canada. Cross Hwy #3 and follows the TCT signs into town.

The trail crosses a major gravel road (Santa Rose Rd.), which takes you down to the community of Christina Lake.
